Duke Ping of Jin  ( simplified Chinese :  晋平公 ;  traditional Chinese :  晉平公 ;  pinyin :  Jìn Píng Gōng , died 532 BC) was from 557 to 532 BC the ruler of the  State of Jin , a major power during the  Spring and Autumn period  of ancient China. His ancestral name was  Ji , given name  Biao , and Duke Ping was his  posthumous name . He succeeded his father,  Duke Dao of Jin , who died in 558 BC. [1] [2] King Dao of Zhou  ( Chinese :  周悼王 ;  pinyin :  Zhōu Dào Wáng ; died 520 BC), or  King Tao of Chou , was the twenty-fifth king of the Chinese  Zhou Dynasty  and the thirteenth of Eastern Zhou.
